Note: Procedure of selection Admission to the DPSE course will be done on the basis of rank/merit in the entrance examination conducted by SCERT Delhi. Only those student who are in the rank list will be considered for admission in DPSE in order of merit.
Eligibility conditions for DPSE Course:
Candidate must fulfill all the eligibility conditions on the last date of submission of application from otherwise his/her application form will be rejected.
Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates seeking admission to DPSE Course must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of CBSE, or its equivalent examination from any other recognized Board/University. The Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination required for admission to DPSE course is 50 %. in aggregate. For calculating percentage of marks of 10+2 examination conducted by CBSE, best 5 subjects including, at least one language, will be considered.
- For other board/universities, aggregate of marks in best 5 subjects in which he/she is required to pass for qualifying in Sr. Sec. Examination or its equivalent as per rules laid down by the concerned board will be considered for calculating percentage of( out of total maximum marks of 500).
- For calculating percentage of marks of Secondary examination, all subjects in which he/she is required to pass for qualifying Secondary Examination as per rules laid down by the concerned board will be considered.
- Five percent relaxation of marks in the qualifying examination is allowed for candidates applying under the categories of Scheduled Caste, OR Scheduled Tribe OR Physically Handicapped only ( irrespective of the fact whether there exists any reservation for any category of such candidates or not).
Physical Fitness
The candidate must be in good mental and physical health and should free from any physical defect which is likely to interfere with his/her studies including active outdoor duties required of a teacher. According, all the candidates shall be required to submit a Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner indicating that he/she is in good mental and Medical health and should free from any physical defect which is likely to interfere with his/her studies including active outdoor duties required of a teacher.
Age Limit
- The maximum age should not be more than 24 years as on 30th September,2010.
- 5 years relaxation of age in upper limit is allowed for candidates applying under the categories of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Handicapped only subject to submission of related certificate
